Housing stability

Working to end homelessness in our city.

The fight to end homelessness is one that is very important for ACAO and our partnering organizations. Indeed, over the past five years, our organization has worked closely with hundreds of homeless and low-income members of our community as well as the City of Ottawa's Housing Department to find solutions to end homelessness in our city.

Our organization teamed up with the City of Ottawa's Housing Department to actively participate in the rapid-housing solution for homeless members of our community. At the end of 2021, we acquired two townhomes which will become permanent homes to two families as of February 1, 2022.

We continue to work very hard to acquire more properties and house more families.
