Helping the community get back on track
Many people have lost their jobs during the COVID–19 pandemic, making it quite difficult to get back on track and provide for their families and themselves. Our employment program is built to equip our community with tools that will help them build skills or start a business. The program had a total of 125 participants who learned new skills and, for some of them, were able to apply them in their job search.
The only challenge we currently face with the employment program is when it comes to physical meetings and activities. Because of the pandemic, sometimes it‘s difficult for the coaches to meet in person, however, there are alternatives such as online or phones meetings which have helped us a lot
